Are you running Vista 64 bit? If striving to align your drivers manually it is important to double check that the recent setup isn’t going to clash with older established drivers. Vista claims a file is not found but this could also be becuase it does not allow non-signed drivers Just in case this comes in handy for anyone! Hey glad it worked out and thanks for posting to let me know It really did my head in trying to get it to work – I have 2 wireless adaptors here and it was the last one I was expecting to work as it was the cheapest I even cracked open my Linksys USB adpater cos I wanted to see what chipset was in it lol. Now and again wd544g harm may be generated to your PC, and in others simply a tiny difficulty in the effective performance of the new driver, or maybe a number of the outdated versions.
Which wireless adapter are you using with Vista 64?
Just in case this comes in handy for anyone! I have done a system restore to before the drivers installed. I think it installed the x86 drivers, because the program was installed to Program Files x86not the regular program files. Another issue which may not may not be related is that my Eternet card installs but does not detect a cable the cat 6 cable works with my other PC.
