I’m going mad with the exact same issue! Sorry this didn’t help. I ended up solving my problem by contacting Logitech support, they shipped me a new headset the G free of charge.

I had this headset working last week, using the official Logitech Windows 10 driver it is compatible and Windows 10 supported according to Logitech and I already had the same problem before Windows 10 version. I had a few games that stopped recognising the wheel on Win10 was dual booting Win7 to fix prior to and they are all good again as well. Installing Logitech Gaming Software doesn’t make Windows recognize the headset correctly.
